My dogs are a big part of mine and Andy’s life, so we tend to take more photos of them than pretty much anything else (well, apart from the odd dodgy looking selfie) and we like to display them generally on canvas, but when Lana from Twenty Fingers contacted me and offered me something really unique instead of a canvas I was delighted to say yes.
Order is really easy on Twenty Fingers, you pick what you want, send your photo, pay and wait. In a few days you receive proof of your item which you then agree to and delivery then is a few days later. It arrives wrapped up incredibly well to save any damage and secured tightly stopping any internal movement so you can guarantee that your piece will be in pristine condition on opening.
Now I adore a picture of Daddy Bo that I took randomly one sunny afternoon when we were just chilling. Bo has a thing about glittery and shiny things, so just on a whim I took my bracelet off and put it on Bo’s head. He put his head on the table and before he fell asleep I took a cheeky picture of him. He looked super cute but then didn’t let me take the bracelet off his head as each time I tried he’d sit up with it so I couldn’t have the bracelet back until he was ready. I’ve loved that picture ever since I took it but I forgot the first time to tell Lana not to add it in the print, so my first proof was this:
Don’t get me wrong I loved it, but I didn’t fancy explaining the reason he had flowery head gear on each time we were asked and why it was there, so asked her to edit it out for me instead. That gave us this proof:
This one got the big thumbs up from both me and Andy, so we went ahead and said YES!
As the majority of our living room is beech and the photos on the wall are either canvas so no frame, or beech framed, I had to go for one that matched so these were the options we chose:
- Photo Of Your Pet: Bo.jpg
- Papercut Size: Standard 10″ x 12″
- Frame Colour: Oak
- Glass Type: Standard
- Artwork Colour: Ebony Black
- Pet’s name: Rambo
And so after receiving the final proof and being thrilled with it, Lana then finished it off and popped it in the post.
The images don’t show just how lovely it is in reality. I think the fact that it’s a paper cut image and is so precisely placed in the frame is such a clever, unique idea to adorn people’s walls. It certainly makes a change from the regular canvas, but is more of a talking point for people as it stands out as being so different.
Our print was £69 and that included courier delivery. The range includes Family Trees, Bead Art, Wooden Spoons, Christmas Decorations and many more gifts to personalise just for you or your loved ones.
