Does your dog have a tendency to push their bowl underneath cupboards in their excitement of being fed, only to (if you have more than one dog) get the bowl mixed up with one of the others, resulting in one dog eating the others food. Now all in all, it shouldn’t really matter, however if you are feeding your pet with addition of supplementary medication such as milk thistle powder and the like then you don’t particularly want the bowls mixed up, especially if they are all the same type of bowl.
Personalisation therefore is crucial and Treat Republic have the means with their personalised pet bowls. In variations for both dogs and cats, 6 styles featuring paw prints to shields proudly display your fur boy or girls name making it a breeze for you to know whose bowl belongs to who.
The dog bowls are quite heavy, weighing in at 1.163kg and 19cm wide x 7cm deep, so it shouldn’t be easily pushed along the floor when your pet is satisfying its hunger, staying pretty much in place whilst resting on a rubber feeding mat. Thankfully putting pay to the game no one wants to play – hunt the bowl!
The personalisation (which is a name up to 10 characters and a paw print in our case) is photographic so there’s no risk of the transfer peeling, although I tend not to put items like this in the dishwasher if I can help it as I find the dishwasher salt damages the surface so hand washing is more appropriate to keep it in pristine condition.
The bowl itself is well presented as a whole however there are a few dimples on the rim which look like tiny pin holes produced from popping bubbles in the clay. The bubbles wouldn’t have been big enough during firing to cause any weakness in the bowl so there’s no cause for concern at the stability of the product and does not detract from the beauty of the work produced. If I’m being incredibly picky the transfer is slightly offset in the left corner but as it’s practical item, not a showpiece it does not devalue the product in any way, shape or form. It’s cute design, clear cut transfer and glossy exterior more than make up for any imperfections in the clay.
The bowls are on sale for just £16.99 at Treat Republic which is super value for such a lovely item with the opportunity to purchase next day delivery and are packed with such care and attention, bubble wrapped and boxed, the chance of it being damaged in transit is minimal.
There’s only one problem that I’m facing now though… how long is it going to take me to save up to get the other dogs theirs!
